Elkins Construction Site Tour
The following is a photo tour from June 2001 of the construction on the Elkins section of the Corridor H project. Keep checking this web site for future photo tour updates.


This section of Corridor H connects County Route 33 to U.S. 219. It was opened to traffic in January 2001. Looking east over Elkins from a completed section of Corridor H that connects County Route 33 to U.S. 219.


Looking from J.F. Allen Company's job across County Route 11 onto Polino Contracting Inc.'s job. J.F. Allen Company's job was completed in January 2001. The exit provides direct access to U.S. 219. Construction operations on the Polino Contracting Inc.'s job. The job is 1.5 miles long and is 91 percent complete.

The workers in the lower right hand corner of the picture are building forms so that concrete can be poured to create a large column that will help support the bridge.
